Weymouth plan for new homes in pony paddock owned by Dorset Council - Twelve houses and ten flats could be built on a paddock between Spa Road and Roman Road in Weymouth.

A planning application for the council-owned site has been submitted by local builder in the name of Devon and Dorset Properties Ltd.

The site is west of Roman Road and north of Spa Road and is described as an unused pony paddock.

The proposal is for four two-bed flats, two two-bed houses, and 10 houses of four or more bedrooms for the open market together with six one-bed social housing flats.

Public comments can be made on the application until August 6th.

A decision is expected to be made by a planning officer rather than a local planning committee of councillors.
